I'm not sure where to start and don't want to deal with councils / contractors etc can you help?

We can help with ALL aspects of your Home from finance to build to subcontractors to position and connect your building.

To what standard are these homes built?

All Premium portables ‘Home Range’ are designed and engineered to meet ‘Very High’ wind zone conditions therefore can be located almost anywhere in New zealand!

Do you offer finance?

Absolutely, we offer competitive financing options.

Can my building be insured?

Yes once you have a COC your building can be insured.

Where is my building built?

Your building is Built at our factory located at 81 Lower styx road Bottle lake, Christchurch and transported directly to you All finished!

Do they come with solar?

We can price this for you.

What sort of flooring comes standard?

We offer customizable carpet and or commercial grade vinyl throughout.

Do I need a deposit?

On acceptance of your order a 30% deposit will be required.

Are the homes insulated and how well?

Very well insulated, including Low-E glass windows.
Floor 3.9R Walls 4.5R Ceiling/roof 7.65R.
All above building code standards for insulation in New Zealand.

How long typically does it take for a building consent for my building to be issued?

This can vary depending on your property/the council. The council do allow 20 working days to process an application however this can vary.

What's the go with wheels?

A huge debate between councils / tinyhome builders are the determination of the rules surrounding a ‘Tinyhome’ on wheels. Technically a ‘Tinyhome on wheels’ does not require a building consent as it is determined to be a vehicle.

Can I use my Kiwisaver?

Unfortunately not.

How do I get power?

All Premium portables buildings come equipped with a 16AMP caravan style outley meaning you will need a connection to a nearby power source (can be supplied with a 32AMP connection).

How do I get water?

Water can be connected via a simple hose connection however the best course of water would be via a direct connection to mains water.

Do I need a certificate of compliance (COC)

If you are looking to apply for a building consent in order to play your Premium Portables building on your property you will need a certificate of compliance in order to obtain this.

What is a certificate of compliance (COC) and how does this help me?

A code of compliance is a certificate issued by the local council which confirms that the building has been completed in accordance with the building code. It ensures that the building meets specific building,health and safety requirements, and is considered safe and habitable for its intended use.

Are the buildings built by licensed building practitioners?

Yes, we pride ourselves on building to code and therefore take no shortcuts when it comes to your investment.

What sort of warranty is included?

A 3 year building warranty is guaranteed with all buildings.

How long does the process take to build my building and deliver?

8-12 weeks depending on aspects such as council consents and current workload.

How does transport work?

We organise transport for you at additional costs, please enquire about an estimate. Your building will be delivered on a Crane truck and lifted into place.

Can I customise my House?

We welcome customisation of our designs , there are additional costs for things like moving walls/changing kitchen etc.

Can My house be ‘Offgrid’?

Upon application we can price in various options for you at an additional cost.
